Project 365 Day One Hundred and Eleven

I have loved this dress from Milk Motion since I bought it but the only problem was that the shirt and jacket layers when they rez mean I wind up topless.

I have found this is happening with a couple of dresses I own in SL now. I appreciate that it’s probably due to the design of the dress in most cases (I don’t with this dress though) but it is a huge pain making sure you don’t end up tp’ing somewhere topless whilst the prims rez.

Today I remidied this by wearing one of my bustier tops from W&B after a failed attempt at editing the shirt and jacket layers. The bustier did work from the front at least but it is a little bit annoying having to find this kind of solution.

When I put the dress on it made me feel a bit Wendy from Peter Pan (I have no idea why!) and decided that I wanted to visit the Calas Galadhon Sim for my photo.

I chose my favourite long hair from Exile, cute leather boots, also from Milk Motion and chose a pose from the Long Hair set at Glitterati to come up with this photo 🙂

  1. I have this same dress, Lexia. Well, I did! I spent more than an hour trying to edit it to fit just right, but couldn’t get the straps or top anywhere near where I wanted them. That sent me over the top and to the trash it went! When I run into designers with items like this I’m typically not a repeat shopper :/
